I truly believe that every moment is worth capturing, which can be seen through my work. Of course I get all the good stuff - But I truly thrive on documenting the in between moments. Moments that are real, raw, and totally unscripted. Moments that you can look back on and say with pride, "Yes, that's so us."
I know the importance of having these memories documented because without my own, I never would have fully gotten to see the man who took pride in being my father.
Don't let a single moment pass you by.
Sweet tea is my guilty pleasure. I literally can not resist the urge to go to Sonic and get me one almost everyday.
Honestly the nostalgia of old film cameras. I always have them with me at every single wedding. The Super 8mm Film camera is currently my go to.
The Chosen. Oh my gosh. If you have not seen this show, don't walk... RUN over to Angel Studios and watch it ASAP.
My best friend Eli & I are convinced we have "best friend telepathy." If you have a bestie that you talk to every single day, you can relate. We literally randomly text each other at the same time about literally the same topic. Its scary sometimes.
y story begins long before I ever picked up a camera.
I first learned the importance of capturing life on camera from my dad. Like most dads in the 90's, mine loved walking around with his analog camcorder (that yes, used tapes.. it was OLD) to capture every moment he could. Sadly, he passed when I was two years old.
As a way for me to know him, my mom would regularly sit me in front of the tv, set up the VHS player, and we would reminisce over the times he was still here. I got to hear his voice, see his smile, listen to him joke around, and most importantly watch him be my dad.
This is what sparked my love of video.
